The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1 on Monday night to take a 3-0 lead in the World Series. The victory extends Milwaukee's winning streak in the National League Championship Series and World Series to seven games. The team is one win away from an 8-0 start, a feat never before accomplished in Major League Baseball history.

Jackson Chourio led the offensive effort with four hits, two runs, and one RBI. He drew a leadoff single, followed by singles in his next two at-bats, and a double during an eight-run fifth inning. Chourio is 22 years old and became the youngest player with a four-hit World Series game since Joe Garagiola in 1946.

The Brewers have dominated the series since the start. In Game 2, Tampa Bay scored four runs in the first inning before falling 5-4. The Rays have not scored since that initial burst. They managed only one run and three hits in Game 3. The team's last run came in the ninth inning on two hits, a late addition to an otherwise one-sided result.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy credited Chourio's discipline and work ethic for his current form. Murphy compared the young outfielder's drive to that of Kobe Bryant, noting that Chourio is coming into his own at age 22. Murphy stated that no one is surprised by the performance because Chourio has consistently improved each year.

Chourio hit .571 with two home runs in the postseason. He stole a base in Game 3, bringing his World Series total to three. He also made a critical defensive play in Game 2 by throwing out a Rays baserunner at home plate. His performance includes all five tools, combining hitting, power, speed, defense, and arm strength.

Injury limited Chourio to 127 games in the regular season, but he still recorded 4.9 wins above replacement. He has reached the 20 home run and 20 stolen base mark in three separate seasons. He is signed with Milwaukee through the 2031 season, with two club options that extend his contract through 2033.

Game 4 is scheduled for Tuesday. The Brewers need one more win to complete the series. The Rays face elimination and have not scored a run since the first inning of Game 2. The series returns to Milwaukee for the final game if necessary.
